I am about to build a PC, and would really appreciate it if anyone could give me feedback and double-check compatability for me. Here is the link:

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/mXnZ99

Also, will the Noctua NH-D14 be compatible and safe with the rest of my components? As it is notoriously large for a CPU Cooler.
Also, is the i7 4790k worth it ovet the i7 4770k?

P.S. I will be using the system for gaming and video editing.

Thanks in advance for any help offered :)

oh I wasnt Advocating a Stock cooler at all. I was just saying that things weighs over a Kilo. and the 212 comes in at half that. Granted the NH-D14 is still an excellent cooler but if he is not going to be over clocking then the 212 would get the job done for half the weight and a lighter price tag too.

I would also get a little tube of Arttic silver 5 or Arctic MX-2 for your thermal compound if you go with the Cooler master 212.

Never mind, I see that you already have Artic Silver 5 on your list...Carry on.

Heavy does not matter. The backplate relieves 90% of the stress anyway. It has been proven time and time again that the stock intel cooler (uses no backplate) put WAY more stress on the motherboard than the heaviest aftermarket coolers around.

Great build you have there, but I would recommend that you go with a better power supply. Like the supernova g2 850w:
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Power Supply: EVGA 850W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply (£94.99 @ Amazon UK)
Total: £94.99

It is better and cheaper. (A 650W PSU would definitely be enough, but I'm guessing you want to put a second gtx 780 in SLI there, in which case the 850W PSU would be perfect.

Also, I wouldn't personally go for the Caviar black, as it doesn't add much and it is quite a bit more expensive, but that's entirely up to you.

I'm saying the weight is not a factor. Not saying your were advocating the stock cooler at all, just that weight does not matter like so many people think it does.

Sorry for not giving enough detail initially. In the future, I will probably be going for 2-way SLI and will also probably end up overclocking. I think that the OC will be 4.8GHz max, which was why I thought that the Noctua NH-D14 would be better. I'd rather go overkill than "underkill" (if that's a thing).
Also, thanks for the psu recommendation DHFF, I've gone with it :)

Also, I have never built a PC before... it isn't supposed to be difficult, and I know quite a bit about computers. I am also quite confident going into it after watching and reading many many tutorials. What do you all think about this? Should I go for it?

Thanks everyone for the help. I can't pick a solution as you were all so helpful. I'm going to build it myself and probably use the platinum psu (more expensive, but I want the best) and the NH-D14 heatsink.

Thanks again :)
