Ok, So I had a macbook air 2012 and it broke but I kept the SSD and I bought a macbook air 2013. I thought I would just swap the SSD but when I opened the 2013 ones, the 2012 SSD does not fit :/ .

Now I am thinking on how to clone those ? . Is there such a tool (I know for SATA's there is) or should I get two adapters and do like s software clone through a computer.

Anyways, I will need the appropriate hardware adapters so any help/suggestion is appreciated. thanks

In addition to not fitting, the operating system installation on the old SSD may not work with the new hardware. Are you willing to use the new machine as it came, and simply copy the files off of the old SSD? Does the new machine have an SSD too, preferably a larger one?
