So, my Mum, keeps complaining about me "taking up all the wifi", and saying that whenever I'm gaming (which is often), she gets poor network speed and can't do any other tasks. Which I have no problem with, I think our network speed is pretty slow on its own anyway, and can understand that gaming can take up a fair amount of bandwidth.
So I was wondering how I could improve it? Our current router is below my bedroom and I get a good signal from there. I was thinking of buying a wireless router and putting it right in my room, and connecting to that one instead. But I really know nothing about how routers work or whether that would be a waste of money. So if someone could tell me how I should approach the problem, I'd be glad to see some answers.
