custom built gaming PC won't turn on.

Hi

Basically, power is plugged in, power switch on case is on, the green mobo light is on.

I press the power button on the front of the case , LEDs around the power button flash, LEDs on the fan flash, fans spin for a fraction of a second but nothing. :(

Any help greatly appreciated

if its a new board then its best to replace it....just try with a different psu first if that doesn't solve the problem then send the board.....

R9 270x GPU
Asus m5a97 MOBO
Hmm that's all I can remember.. Sorry
It trys to turn on and gives up in a fraction of a second, no picture. Could it be that I need to reseat the whole mother board or something?
