I recently switched my cases, and when I booted up, all the fans turned on and acted as usual.my ram error light on my mobo turned on, and there was no signal on the monitor. I know there is manny threads about this, and I've tried all of them. I've reseated the cpu, graphics card and ram, and cleaned the ram, reset CMOS, unplugged everything and plugged back in. I'm pretty sure I didn't fry the ram because when I was switching cases, I never unplugged the ram from the mobo.
Should I just replace the ram? Or did I miss something?

Specs:
Amd fx8350 black edition cpu
Asus sabertooth 990 fx motherboard
Adata xpg 8gb (2 x 4gb) ram
Zontac gtx 650 ti synergy edition 1gb graphics card

Make sure the little clips holding the ram are ALL the way in.
It may feel like you seating the ram all the way in, but believe me, it could be loose.

The clips are all the way on. Also, It was working yesterday, and when I switched cases, I never took out the ram. After it wasn't working was when I reseated the ram.

The sabertooth mobo doesn't have a speaker on it, it just has LEDs for all the components that lights up if that component isn't working properly.

You may have short circuited something while moving your mobo and parts.
Static electricity sucks.
Borrow some ramsticks from a store, and see if they work.
It's best to test out individual parts instead of simply guessing what could be wrong.

I emailed my local computer store, should see if they will lend me some ram soon.
Would my mobo short circuit even if it has "electrostatic discharge guards"?

It's the ram... Different ram doesn't work. Any other ideas?

Faulty power supply at some random inconvenient time?
I would HATE to say your motherboard is dead.

Ill test psu tomarow. My mobo has a 5 year warranty, so hopefully this is covered if my mobo is dead.

Also, thanks for the help and ideas.

I'm using an ultra 650w psu.
I'm going to send my mobo to asus(warranty) and see if they can fix it.
