Looking for an Apple Thunderbolt Display Gaming Build

This will be my friends build. He needs a build purely for gaming while recording on a thunderbolt display which is 2560 x 1440. His budget is $2000. I attempted to pick some parts, but I'm not good with being on the budget price. If anyone could make a build for him that would be awesome. Thanks!

I debated between an SSD and HDD for recording since write speed is very important. I decided to go with the Seagate 2tb because it allowed pricing room for the GTX 780 ti, the best single GPU on the market. I have the Seagate Barracuda and I ran tests with Dxtory and it has a read speed of 190mb/s and write speed of 150 mb/s which is enough for 1080p. Recording at 1440p might be a problem but if it's for Youtube then it will work (Youtube only supports 30fps playback).

Nice, I like it. There is actually a few 60fps videos on YouTube, I read somewhere that they're putting it in soon. I still like your build, he can turn the in game graphics down a little.

With the GTX 780 ti? Pfff he can play every game at max settings at 60 fps.
