How good is this Motherboard?

Hello I would like to know if the Supermicro X10SAT motherboard is suitable or good enough for overclocking. Overall is the Supermicro X10SAT motherboard worth it and is SuperMicro a good brand? Another thing, Would I be able to install a i7 4790k on the Supermicro X10SAT?

No i have never even heard of supermicro that is a bad thing. Get a good board from a trusted brand like the ones listed above.

That Supermicro board is a server grade board (very good though) designed for Intel XEON CPU's it will support the I7 but not sure if it will OC, doubt it since there are enthusiast boards for that. Look for a good Z97 board instead.
