What is the better graphics card?

Im looking to swap the crap graphics card out of my desktop and I want to know whats better the EVGA GeForce GTX760 SuperClocked or the Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 4GB

Bang for buck = R9 270X
Alternatively = R9 280 (Non-X)

Generally the GTX 760 beats the R9 270X by a few FPS, and the R9 280 beats the GTX 760 by a few FPS.

The biggest advantage iv'e seen the 760 have, over either of them, is in the Batman Arkham Origin game, by some 20 FPS.

MSI GAMING EDITION R9 270.

Everyone I know has been able to OC past the speed of a 270x. the difference between 270 and 270x is just clock speed. And it's only 170 bucks.

With any component you buy they're is a small percentage of it being defective, no matter how much you spend. If it is defective then i don't see any reason why it shouldn't be replaced.

Personal preference, 760 generally runs cooler and has driver updates more often. 270 is less expensive and has Mantle (I am still not convinced it does any real work). Otherwise extremely comparable in terms of performance.
