new build lost bios and windows 7

New build everything worked fine first time out bios set nothing unusual. installed windows on ssd hooked up 2tb hard drive and went to update drivers would not run driver update. shut down computer till another day and upon restart windows flashes password page for a second and black screen. Bios unaccessable upon restart . writing to all on first build which is working fine...

I downloaded the driver updates for the new motherboard as I had been told to do in many tutorials. Put them on a flash drive and tried to install them. Until that point the process of a new build was working fine. Installed hardware post was normal. installed windows 7 on ssd seemed normal. hooked up hard drive had to assign drive letter to get it recognized but after that everything was working. put in flash drive with new updates for chip, lan, audio,etc and could not get software to open or run updates. flash drive was recognized and updates were downloaded to desktop. Normal shutdown due to time. Upon trying to restart computer no flash of asus emblem and very fast flash of windows 7 password screen then black. Nothing
