I have an HP Pavillion computer and i decided to upgrade it. I have about 350 dollars so i decided get a bigger case for like 40 dollars (i don't know if i need to tho). I need a cheap AM3+ mobo, a nice CPU and a GPU for like 100 dollars maybe a bit more. I already have Power-supply for 600 Watts and i have a stock cooler from fx 6300 (my other computer). So what i am asking is for a Mother Board, a CPU and a GPU for about 300 dollars. But please tell me, maybe i don't need a case.I was thinking of an HD 7770 but i don't know much. Thamk you.

Solution
Well what motherboard does the case for now? If it's ATX then it will do fine. And if you do end up not needing a new case:

EDIT: Just some info on the card I changed to with your extra budget. Will play games on high at 1080p. It's also only 200mm

The 260x is better than the 7770. The 750 to as the above poster said is good and also beats the 260x. However it will be over budget as 750 ti is about $150.

He was also looking for CPU-GPU-MoBo under $300, so there it is. 3.8 GHz Quad Core, AM3+ MoBo and a good 128 bit 1 GB DDR5 85GB/s card. Not good enough?

Wow so many replies. I have 600 watt power supply. I was thinking of a gtx 750 but i don't know. I just finished my first build and it runs on a slightly used r9 270x Toxic. And by slightly i mean it was turned on for 4 hours and that is it. The card works great so i was thinking of maybe getting something that is slightly used but not overclocked or anything. I got my Toxic for 150 dollars and that is the price of a Gtx 750 ti

Ughh here's a build. Since mATX is much cheaper I just decided to add a decent PSU as well as you said you had some problems with the other one. If you don't think you need one well you'll have an extra $40 or so to spend somewhere else.
