SSD with HDD help

I've just installed an SSD in my system as a boot drive, however I want to use my old HDD, which contains all my programs and games as a storage drive, however I am having a problem that all the locations that my shortcuts etc. are looking for is the old hard (C: ) drive, which is now the E: drive and not finding what it wants to find on the SSD's C: Drive. So, I was wondering, how can I make it so I can set this up correctly with my OS and some programs on the SSD and the rest of them on the HDD, without something drastic. I have already tried renaming drives but can't rename the one I am currently using.

For Steam games:
Find your Steamapps folder that lives in the old OS installation.
Move that folder to somewhere outside the /User/Steam space.
In your new Steam client, add that new location as a folder location.

It should work.
