Hey guys, since I've built my last PC, I've realized the processor I had isn't going to cut it, so I was planning on getting a more powerful Intel setup. I am getting the i7-4790k, but I'm not sure what motherboard I should get. I'm looking at 2 MSI's, 1 Gigabyte and 1 Asus.
Here are the links:
MSI Z97 Gaming 7: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K23BZTA/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_3?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
I think this motherboard has the most features, correct me if I'm wrong.
MSI Z97-G45: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K23BYCI/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
I think this motherboard's missing an M.2 slot, 2 SATA III ports, doesn't have USB Audio Power but has WIFI built in.
Gigabyte GA-Z97X-GAMING 7: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00JKCHDEU/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_2?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
This has a dedicated audio chip, is separated from the rest of the motherboard for noise cancellation, and has Dual BIOS as well as the first MSI board.
Asus Maximus VII HERO: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00K2MASE4/ref=ox_sc_sfl_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER
The pretty boy, comes with a dedicated audio chip as well, and I don't know what else is notable about it. Doesn't seem like the I/O shield is black, which is optional having a black one, but I'd like it. Does this have Dual BIOS as well?

So I'm seeing this killer deal that includes the processor and one of the motherboards on Newegg, which is this right here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails.aspx?ItemList=Combo.1797406
The savings are huge. But it doesn't look like it has an M.2 port, has 6 SATA III ports, doesn't have a debug LED, I think has a lower power phase, and doesn't have onboard power/reset buttons. Is this deal worth it? Or do I just spend more and get the Gaming 7 from MSI?
My requirements are 6 SATA III ports, a red and black color scheme, and the most features for the money. Don't even try straying me from my color scheme, I'm h**l bent on getting something like that.
So can someone help me out and pick the best price/features-that-are-actually-useful ratio motherboard? Thanks. I'm only choosing from this list of 4, please don't try to confuse and make my decision difficult by introducing more boards.

The Asus Hero, (the Z87 Hero was the Best Z87 and having picked up the Z97 also, it's even better - OCs better, runs cooler, handles DRAM better and the BIOS is improved....2nd choise would be the GB mobo, the MSI mobos I won't touch due to their poor QC

ASUS>MSI>...Gigabyte?
The VII Hero is the best out of the main 3 (if you want to pay that much) followed by the MSI Gaming 7 and then the Z97X. Both the Hero and MSI G7 boards have good overclocking capabilities, neat onboard audio, looks and reliability. The G45 is a updated version of the Z87-G45 that received many awards and good reviews last year.
