Hi guys I've just moved my oldish plasma TV upstairs, It a LG 42" 5010 model and I've got it plug into my graphics card (R9 280X) using a HDMI-DVI with the DVI into my graphics card and the HDMI into my TV but no matter what resolution I put it on that's over 1280x720 (Which only fills about 70% of the screen with massive black bars either side) then the resolution is too big for the screen? Ive tried GPU Scaling, fixed ratio's and I cant use the overscan/underscan option on catalyst control center at any resolution over 1280x720. In cataylst control center ive got it set to 1080p under the HDTV setting and it says the max resolution of the screen is 60hz 1980x1050 but doesn't give me that option when im looking through what resolution I can have under the basic option but yet allows me to put it 1080p in the HDTV option which is strange. Im really fed up with it and Ive searched for a couple of hours for a fix and tried a lot of things and nothing has worked so far, any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
Cheers - Lewis

There are plenty of TVs that work with Full HD 1080p resolutions and your TV does.
Also, your information was misleading since you said it was a "plasma" TV, and it is in fact a LCD TV.
