hello i have recently been having issues with an advertisement company "Suaver Box" and it occasionally doesn't allow access to websites. i would like a free ad blocker that wont take over my computer. If anyone knows of one please tell me.

I have looked into Adblock plus. I got the impression it is free. Can anybody Give a good word for it. I'm hoping it's ability to stop advertisers hijacking your browser will help.

I've been using it for years, and it has never caused any issues, or failed to block an add.

I too have been using AdBlock Plus for years in Firefox. I am genuinely surprised when I see an ad from any website in Firefox these days.

Based on your initial description though, modernwar99 might be on to something. An ad blocking add-in (while still EXTREMELY useful) might not be the solution you need here.
