First I will give you background on the situation of what happened.

Three days before I left on vacation to Florida, I was playing games and live-streaming when all of a sudden I head a loud pop like dropping a math book on the floor and started to smell like a hot clutch or brakes. I did not have time to test the computer before I left. When I got back from Florida two weeks later I tested the computer with a new power supply. Once I hooked it up and tried to turn the computer on I would get no power. I hooked it up again and it started. The motherboard started smoking under the heat sync above the voltage regulators near the CPU. Then it burst into flames. (Not joking.) I unplugged the computer from the wall and called MSI. MSI agreed to RMA the motherboard and I shipped it back. A week and a half later, I recived the new motherboard and installed all of my components: Processor, heat sync, RAM, graphics card then hooked all of the cables up. Turned the computer on and all of the fans spun, as well as the hard drive and DVD-Rom drive. But that is as far as it would get. There was no beeps or tones from the board. I have tested all of the components in a friends computer with a similar processor and setup. I will list my components at the of this article.

Motherboard: MSI 970A-G46
Prosessor: AMD FX8350 Black Edition w/Stock heat sync
RAM: 32GB DDR3 Super Talent 1333MHz RAM 4 x 8GB modules
Graphics: XFX R7800 Series
Hard Drive: WesternDigital Green 2TB
DVD-Rom: One I pulled from a Dell XPS desktop
PSU: My first one was Kentek 1050 Watt supply. My new one is Corsair CX750M. (I have tested both of the power supplies.)

If you need more information please do not hesitate to ask. There are a few link from this forum that I have tried. And with no success. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Dylan Martin
