Is the 8-pin cpu power connector long enough

I'm planning on build my first gaming pc but I'm worried about the 8-pin cpu power connector being too short. I have a Cooler Master HAF 912 as a case and a Cooler Master V550 as a power supply. I wanted to know, so I would know to buy an extension. Thanks

I build in full towers, most of them quite large and have never had to use an extension...... I never had an issue with the 922, 932 or HAF but it's been years since anyone has asked for one. The 912 is kinda small which kinda makes me wanna say "Don't worry"..... but I have never used a Coolermaster PSU. Most of the high end PSUs come with long enuff cables.

Its should be fine. Cases that need them (specifically the haf932, which I own) come with the extension.

Ofcourse, some psus, don't need any extensions at all.

eg. My last Thermaltake psu needed it, my new corsair psu doesn't need it.
