Yes, but why the i7? Also I'd look for a better quality PSU and swap the CPU cooler for a Noctua NH-D14 if you plan to overclock.

Right now the CPU/GPU combo isn't well balanced for gaming. It would be better to get an i5 and a 280x or something similar.

for pity sake, why, why do you have an OC cpu when you want gaming? you wont get anything out of it, games are not CPU intense... do you realy want to do streaming or content creation, or are you clueless... if you just want to game, then get a good i5 or a cheapest i7, period... and get the bestest graphics and OC the shit out of it... do not OC the cpu...

as stated, you will play it on medium, high (mostly medium in very recent upcoming games)...

PS you didnt say how many GB ram you have... but for gaming 2 sticks of 4 GB is good and enough.

what budget do you have?
do you need OS?
Will you overclock? if only gaming then no need to overclock
do you need a monitor?

answer those and someone could probably hook you up with a great gaming rig like this
