My AI Suite II is set to "high performance" in the "EPU" settings rather than "auto" on start up. This is somewhat contradictory because I believe I'm getting better performance through the "auto" setting somehow. Anyway my question is, how do I set my bios to recognize that I want the "auto" setting on start up rather than the "High Performance". Also, how would I get the "iGPU load line calibration", "iGPU Current Capacity" and "CPU Voltage Frequency" to be set to the highest setting on start up. I can set it through AI suite II, but it wont stick because it isn't set through bios.

Here are some screenshots to help you figure out what specifically I'm talking about.

My motherboard is:

"ASUS P8Z77-V Intel 7 Series Motherboard - ATX, Socket H2 (LGA1155), Intel Z77 Express, 2400MHz DDR3 (O.C.), SATA III (6Gb/s), RAID, 8-CH Audio, Gigabit LAN, USB 3.0, PCIe 3.0, WiFi-N, SLI/CrossFireX"

My CPU is:

Intel(R) Core(TM) I5-2500 CPU @ 3.30 GHz 3.30 GHz.

RAM:

16gb of DDR3

I'm just trying to get a boost out of my system.

go to this link and download the manual, put it on your phone so that you can reference it while you go into bios> advanced settings (on the top right).

http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/P8Z77V/HelpDesk_Manual...

you go into bios by pressing the delete key on startup.

i have a similiar board and the manual is quite comprehensive.

you can also use the auto tune feature and it will increase and save everything for you also. it does a pretty good job really.

I did the Auto tune feature already and got a boost. The manual unfortunately doesnt seem to go over my problem.
There is only one setting it prompts me with for the EPU and it says "EPU: Enable power saving mode [disabled] [enabled]. Mine is on disabled. It doesnt say anything about High Performance or Auto.

Also I can't find the iGPU settings under DIGI+ VRM either. I don't know what to do and I don't want to keep having to open AI-Suite II every time I start my computer to change my configuration in order to get the settings I want. :c

Ok, lets just say I did that. What about the EPU.
it only says: "Enable power saving mode". I don't see any settings about High Performance or Auto. When I switch to Auto in AI Suite my CPU fan kicks in like it should be when I start up.

it should be in there also. is it like it says on page 3-9

turn epu on then select the profo;e you want

you should be able to adjust everything the same as with the ai suite.

I have the same bios as you do.
