How can I stream Netflix onto my T.V.?

I bought my tv before hdmi was a standard. I bought a sony blue-ray player and wireless streaming box from target. My Toshiba tv only has the red, yellow, and white rca connections. I bought this cable to convert the signal, but it isn't working please help!

hdmi to rca box

That cable you bought specifically says "This item is only supposed to work with your device which has got the function of signal transfer".

So it could be you need to change a video setting on the streaming box.
