My cpu fan is making a lot of noise after I cleaned it and installed it back. I don't know what happened. but as a result I want to change it. I have a intel H57h am2 motherboard. Can anyone plz recomend me a good heat sink for max 30$.

how do I know how much mm fans I need and if a certain heat sink will fit on my motherboard? I I need to know some stuff before I buy it?

I tried the TX3 and T4, They are very low quality and are not much cheaper than the 212. and the T4 is too large, the TX3 is much louder than the 212. The CM Hyper 212 Evo is the best CPU cooler under $60.

With it being an oem pc can i not know what height cooler is supported,i think it won't be up to 160mm so won't recommend the evo.
Looking at the .ca your from Canada,i chose these two for recommendation,

don't know which cpu so make sure the cooler supports the tdp.I would go for the deepcool.

These are better and all under 152mm so should probably fitt,

these use a back plate so you will need to take the motherboard out, with the deepcool can you just use the push pins.

I bougth cooler master tx3 (link above). It runs great and is quiet. I get low 20 degrees when just surfing the net or doing less intensive stuff. Cannot hear it at all. But when I play games or any graphic intensive things I can hear it a bit (not too much) My tem ps then get to mid 40's
I use real temps software
