Hyper 212 with rubber washers?

Great cooler, but I'm always very concerned with where the stand offs make contact with the front of the motherboard.

For one, the stand offs can damage the components from over tightening alone. Secondly, the stand offs have been known to "ooz" some sort of adhesive if tightened too tightly. And lastly, I've read where people have tried removing the cooler and ended up having the stand offs turn and dig into the motherboard, damaging the sensitive (and exposed) circuitry and no longer being able to POST

So, has anyone ever used rubber washers in an abundance of caution? I'm surprised they are sold without them honestly. Has anyone tried any other way of making sure the above scenarios do not happen?

Thanks

I've never had either of my 212s' posts sit on anything other than empty MB surface, nothing under the posts. And the sticky goo has never been an issue. But I see no reason you couldn't use thin washers. If too thick, it may change heat sink to CPU distance when the mtg. screws are run all the way down.
