Hey all,u
I have decided to build a pc and most likely on my own and I picked some parts out and would love your opinions!
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/Qk9st6

My budget is around $1000 without monitor and OS I have put money aside for those 2.

I am not a hardcore gamer mostly I play cod 2 and cod waw, guild wars 2, FSX and counter strike. I know these games are fairly old but I also want to play any future games like The Crew and Project cars and gta v whenever that will be released on fairly decent settings basically to outperform my ps4. I want to go back to pc gaming but with my current laptop is rather hard to do so. I will be playing on a full hd resolution.

Also is it hard to build a pc from scratch? I used to upgrade my old pc when it was due for an upgrade and seemed pretty straightforward. I found a website that makes custom pc with a part selection and it's about $500 more than my budget.

I know in my pars list I don't have an SSD because I never had one and to be honest I don't really mind having slower loading times and also I didn't chose a cpu cooler as I don't plan on overclocking and never had.
Thanks a bunch!!!

I don't like MSI motherboards , they aren't quality products . The R9-290 will give you great gaming performance and will stand the test of time also you don't need 750W ( Dismiss what they say on the product's description ). I know that you don't mind the slow boot time but when it doesn't exceed your budget then I think it will be an improvement.

@ Topluca I like the build its right in my budget and get a better GPU although I do have a question you mention the mobo but in the description it says it supports up to 1600mhz ram should I change my ram to somethingbwotg 1600mhz?
Thanks!!!

The ram can be underclocked or overclocked but its max is 1866Mhz I think on default settings it will run at 1333Mhz so don't worry. If you want to change it then its up to you , wouldn't make any difference in gaming
