I've decided to upgrade to a SSD for my (somewhat) older system and use my existing HDD as a backup and internal storage.
I was just inquiring as to any known potential issues or conflicts that I might encounter with my current mobo with the addition of a SSD. I was leaning toward the SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE250BW 2.5" 250GB SATA 6Gb/s TLC Internal SSD and with my mobo a Gigabyte X58A-UD5; BIOS Version FE, Rev. 2.0. and Intel Core i7 920 @ 2.67 MHz.
Just wondering if it will be basically plug and play with a few BIOS setting changed or if there is any additional work to be done to the mobo to accommodate the new SSD.
Thanks.
