Yes it likely can be done but it will up to you to read the manual to find the details. Even verison fios is way to generic you can pretty much put any router behind a fios connection and verison has a number of different models they have put out though the years.

So your first step is to get the exact model number then step 2 is to find the manual online and see if it has the ability to do any form of IP filtering. Generally people when they do not know what router they have or its abilities have a very basic router. If this is the case you likely will have to replace the router with one that has some ability to filter data.
It really depends on the firewall/router and what options it gives. It varies greatly from device to device. It also depends if you are running nat since the destination address could either be your router or the actual device if you are not talking internet. Best to post the type of device you are running and maybe someone will be able to help more.

the ip i would like to allow is a verizon fios ip from a wireless router. im not sure if this would even be safe, but thats why i would only want to allow 1 ip and have that user setup a static ip on his end so that he is the only one on that ip.

the network is a wired lan, and the owner of the company would like to have the ability to come in thru the firewall at home using the verizon fios wireless router.

i hope this makes sense.
