This is my current rig I have, and I just got watchdogs and I cant even hit a solid 60FPS without massive drops and stuttering. Just curious as to whether this is an optimization thing or if it's truly the integrity of my PC that's causing this. Is my PC able to max out games from 2014 and upcoming ones do you guys think?

You would think this is good enough right?

Here's my rig:
Asus Z87-A Mobo
i7 4770k 3.5Ghz
Gigabyte GTX780 OC Windforce 3GB
8GB Kingston HyperX Genesis
120GB Kingston SSD
1TB WD Blue HDD
Corsair CX750M PSU
CM Hyper 212 EVO Cooler

Watch dogs optimization is bad, 780 will be good enough for games in the future depending on resolution your playing at too.

Alright I'd Go with the Z97 Version of this Mobo , Go for the R9-290 Tri-X OC from Sapphire ( GPU ) and finally I'd chose a different psu as this one is terrible quality XFX 650 W should be sufficient , if you wanna go a little bit overkill then go for a 750W Psu from XFX

Even a GTX780 would struggle running 60fps stable in watchdogs. You could consider a r9 290, which would help with ultra with the extra vRAM.

As for the system itself, like luca said about the psu. As a suggestion for a 750w, maybe evga supernova g2 750w.

CPU wise, even though the game suggests an i7, I think the game itself still plays just as well with an i5.

Z87 will require Bios update , the R9 290 Tri-X OC is much cheaper than 780 and deliver the same performance and if not better at some games.

But the 780OC will perform the same if not better at other games as well. So it goes both ways. I know I'm not the only one who says there is lag and stuttering etc. so I'm not dead set on my rig being underpowered as you're trying to tell me it is.

GPUboss is super biased toward Nvidia and Intel. unless you comparing within the same company, basically everything they say is useless. I dont trust anything xxxboss says. They also say a 770 is better than a 290, which are in like completely different classes
