Hey, i am looking to build a pc for multi-purpose use with the added benefit of being able to play the top games blah blah.. I am trying to keep it within the 0-1500 range for components excluding the GPU. I will buy a cheaper alternative for now and upgrade it later on. This what i have at the moment so fire away!

The XL looks just like the regular, only bigger of course, and can be had with or without the window. The windowed version has the full window, not the triangular deal that the regular has.

Umm, the case mods might not be so minor. The ones I skimmed looked like they hacked the top of the case off. Up to you though:)

Looks like some kick-ass components. The only problem I see is the H100i - it'll fit in the Shinobi XL, but I don't think it'll fit in the regular Shinobi. There's some conflicting info on it. According to the Shinobi Forum, it won't fit because there are some case brackets that will prevent it. A number of other forums and sites talk about having to mod the case to get it to fit.
On PCPartpicker, if you look up the H100i, and then search for compatible cases, the Shinobi is listed, but if you look up the Shinobi and then search for compatible coolers, the H-list stops at the H-80i.

I haven't used that case before, so I can't say definitively, but I'm guessing it ain't gonna fit.

I punched your build in and it gave me a warning that your case and cooler are not compatible. You can follow the link below to see it. Also, I noticed you don't have any drives listed - am assuming you have at least one already?

Thanks for the quick reply volcano! I forgot to mention that i already have drives so i won't need them. oops :p Hm, i'll look into the clash between the cooler and case some more, thanks for the info you got me :). I don't mind doing minor case mods so if i can squeeze it in there i think i might try. The shinobi XL is the one with the window right?
