Help on getting a good yet affordable RAM

Hi guys,

Im planning on building a gaming PC.

I want an 8gb ram. Im wondering what to get.

My friend suggested this G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600. DO you guys have any feedback? is there something cheaper but will maintain almost the same quality. Im really new here so I also don't know the differences between the different rams.

Here's my CPU and mobo that im planning to get if it helps:

i5-4690
ASROCK H97M Micro ATX or Gigabye GA-H97-Gaming 3

the standards for RAM are (forget brand)
-1.5V
-1600Mhz/1866 no higher needed (for gaming)
-CAS 9 min

If you look into higher clocked RAM they sometimes are 1.6V or more which adds heat and stress to the IMC, and the gains are moot.
