black screen, white cursor. no solution

My computer started having some problems when i alt tab, my image went wrong like when the video card its messed up, after that i got a black screen and couldnt do anything. so i restarted computer.

after that i couldnt get past w7 logo, i didnt see anything from that, i could hear the user and password sound but i only see a black screen with white cursor.

I tried format and it worket but the problem started again after i had to install my video card graphics and had to reboot.

A format wont do much if the problem is a component like the GPU. If you can, try to install a cheap GPU to see if your system is stable. If it is, you know the culprit.

I have a Sapphire HD 6790 1GB DDR5, i tried with the lastest drivers and the CD drivers.

If you can Cntl alt delete and start up task manager from there you go under file menu and click on new task. type in explorer.exe in the open box for the create new task window. It should launch your desktop from there. Hope that helps.
