I wanted to share this program I've created. A friend approached me and said that there wasn't a good APM monitor for SCII, so I decided to make one. Really, this can function for other games as well. The description is below.

This program allows you to track your Action Per Minute (APM), specifically for RTS games. This program was originally designed with Starcraft II in mind, but should work for any game where you want to know your APM.

If you need help or want to suggest something (or anything else relating to the program), you can contact me at my YouTube (under About, in the program). This program requires the .NET Framework, and runs on Windows XP and above.

If you don't feel safe about this program, virus scan it. Or, run it in a virtual machine. If absolutely necessary, I'm willing to distribute the source to people that understand Visual Basic, so they can verify it's not malicious.

What this program exactly does is it detects "True APM" rather than substitution APM. Although it shows substitution. It also displays True APM and more or less design for True APM. It saves the APMs in a .txt file and it can detect the number of times you have pressed one key in a certain time frame (you can make how long you want the time frame to last). its not just for starcraft but more or less for all RTS like games
