Hey folks,

So I've had my PSU for nearly 9 months now and still haven't figured out why it acts weird when I ha e turned the mains switch on and off and when I power up my computer.

For example, if I decide to turn the mains switch off at the end of the night after being on my computer and turn it back on the next day, when I power up my system my PSU starts up briefly and then shuts down. This is only for 5 second d's or so and it will then start and work perfectly fine.

This only happens when I have switched the mains on and off, not any other time. Over this period of time I've just been thinking of it as draining it's previous power / current but that's probably me making up excuses for not RMA'ing the thing.

Anyone else with a Corsair AX1200i have the same experience and should I be worried?

Thanks in advance!

Hello Brad, here is a list of my PC specs:

Intel I7 4930k @ 4.6Ghz
Asus Rampage IV Extreme
2 x GTX EVGA 780 ti SC
16GB Corsair Vengeance @ 2133Mhz
Corsair H100i

I bought an over clocked package from Scan 9 months ago which included the CPU, MB, Ram and CPU Cooler. With it came an instruction sheet stating that I should not enable any form of power saving, so would that be it? Is it considered normal?

Thanks for the rapid response!

Hey Brad, I've listed my specs above. Do you have the same thing happening and is it normal for the power supply to do so with Power Saving disabled in the bios?
