Hi.. I am having trouble with my laptop because it has become very slow suddenly. It gets stuck every 2 seconds for about 5 seconds when something is being processed. I thought it was a virus to make sure i scaned my full laptop it's gone but the problem is still there. I also checked my hard drive for any errors or bad sectors but all are perfect.. I'm using a DELL INSPIRON N4050 Core i5 laptop with 2GB ram, 1TB Hard. I bought this a two years ago.. Does anybody know anything about this?? Please i need some help....

Probably because it's getting too hot. Remove the covers and blow it out. Use a good laptop cooler.

Are you 100% sure your computer is free from malware? If so, then it might be overheating as i7baby said, this you can check with a cpu temperature monitoring tool like speedfan. A cooling fan for laptops might help if temperatures are going over 70C.

Its more likely something wrong with software tho. You might not have gotten rid of all the malware or the windows registries might be messed up. If all else fails, try reinstalling windows after you backup all your personal files.
