PC won't boot but motherboard LEDs are on.

Lately my pc wont turn on. About 1 and a half weeks ago i switched from a amd althon ll x4 631 to a i7 4790k. But 2 days ago my pc stopped booting. The motherboard lights are still on. I also know that my power supply is not dead.

i7 4790k
asus rog maxius VII ranger
12Gb gskill 1x4gb 1866 MHz and 8gb 1600MHz
Evga gtx 760 dual acx
ESP 550 watt 80+ gold power supply
480gb sand disk ssd
1tb 7200rpm HDD

Do the fans spin up? Have you tried resetting the CMOS?

Try resetting the CMOS, your motherboard manual should tell you how to.
And are all the cables from your PSU and those small cables for the buttons up front plugged in correctly?

I reset the cmos but still no booting and no sign of fans. Also i have checked my connections.

How are you sure the PSU is not dead?
Sounds like the PSU.

    Thanks it was my psu and it's being replaced under warranty. :D
