Is this normal?

It is not an old drive. From this year. In the beginning it could hit up to about 450 MB/s but only once per HD Tune test, then dropped again.

Have you changed it over to a sata2 port? Is your motherboard faulty? Has your cable deteriorated?

Is the SSD full?

Yes Sata Gen. 2 in a HP laptop (HP Pavilion dm4-1160eo)

Motherboard should not be faulty. Cable should be fine.

76GB used, 43GB free.

The 450MB/s test was what I could get on a MSI Z87-G45 motherboard in my desktop, but not stable.

Spo you've gone from sata 3 to sata 2 which is slower.

But still, why isnt it reaching near the 300? Only in the ATTO benchmark it comes up..
