Hi
1- i would like to know what's the equal of a single amd or nvidia card with cross of 2 sapphire dualX-OC R9-270X ?
2- don't you think in new generation games crossfire and sli cards are more compatible and its a useful solution for upgrading performance?
2-as we know still there isnt PCI-E 3.0 on amd mainboards but because of 42 lane's of PCI-E on 990fx mainboards you can have two cards in crossfire @16 +@16 =@32 for two cards
now;
whats the difference between cross of two cards with @16 +@16 on PCI-E2 on a 990fx board and @8+@8 =@16 for two cards with PCI-E3 on some intel board ?
witch one has higher performance?

Solution
1: Probably an R9 290 (Sapphire Tri-X Is the best model) Or Nvidia Gtx 780 (Evga Models are the best or windforce)
2: Sli and crossfire arent always good solutions, First, They dont double frame rates, They cause more heat and power consumption, It usually costs more, And not all motherboards support it.
3: @8+@8 On Pci-E3.

hi
first of all thx for your answer
about crossfire , it might be right two cards in crossfire doesn't mean doubling performance but usually the out put performance of two card's it's around (%70 to %90) more than single card , depend on mainboard specification and how match are those card's together
also lately most of high end VGA'S , mainboard's and CPU'S are much more adjusted and compatible with cross or sli systems for instance my system; main:(msi 990fx-a - GD80) -- CPU: (8350-FX) VGA'S: (cross of two R9-270X ) are much more in line and harmonize than older systems (2 year ago and further )
perhaps you are agree with me that most of lately HD games are more compatible with cross and sli systems than befor
and for last: another reason i decided crossfire rather than higher performance single card was the price !!
believe me or not my two sapphire dualx-OC cost me around 460 $ but R9-290X is around 620$ - 650$ !!
