Hi people i just got new(old) Gainward 8800 GT and after i properly inserted it and plug everything in and started PC this is how my screen looks

i wonder, is it dead by default??? i know that its old but its new out of the box card.

Also i noticed that i cant make it use drivers. i download latest drivers and install them, restarted and all , but the properties of the graphic card says

The windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems (error code 43)

please suggest something beside replacing card coz with a newborn baby there is not a chance of investing any kind of money for another graphic card :(

Did you install the drivers for it?

Download the latest drivers for your card from here: http://www.gainward.com/main/download.php?lang=en
If that doesn't work then make sure your card is in the pci-e slot firmly, If not then your card is Faulty, You should be able to use its warranty, if not then go to wherever you bought it from and request a refund.
