PC wont start after plugging in Graphic Card

My graphic card is a GTX 650 ti boost . It was working fine today after that I shut my pc down after about 3 hours I tried starting it up again but it won't start up.When i press the power button the led on the mobo will flash and the fans would spin for about 1 second then the pc would just turn off by itself . So I tried unplugging my gpu and my pc started, but when i plugged the gpu in a gain it will not start anymore . I tried plugging in my gpu to my mom's pc and her pc didn't start up too .
I have a felling that my gpu its broken . How do I fix this problem .

I reseated the ram sticks still the same problem , I can't boot my pc witjout my gpu because I have no video output on my motherboard

first, I would suggest insuring that you have a speaker connected to the motherboard. The video card you purchased could have died, or improperly seated. however a speaker should be able to tell you this.

If one is connected please tell us if you are getting a beeping sound how many and we should be able to help narrow the issue down.

thats always a possibility however a video card issue is much more likely because the second computer couldn't get the card to run either unless the other computer has an insufficient power supply as well.

Hi, i also need some help and do not know where to post my request. i have a computer that i haven't used for a couple of years, which has a PNY geforce 8500 gt that i installed myself a few years ago. i am now trying to use the pc, but there is no signal going to the monitor. I can elaborate further, but i would rather do so in the right manner, not by Hijacking someones problem post.

basically, i want to bypass the video card by resetting bios so that the motherboard's display port works.

can anyone advise me what part of this forum i should go to to get some help?? any advice would be much appreciated.
