Hi. I am looking to build a computer within $1k range. I would like to play games like Battlefield 4 on ultra settings, and it should also run Day Z game perfectly. I am not looking to overclock it, so i don't think any water cooling is necessary. I would prefer it to have a 256gb SSD without additional hard drives. And i like to keep tons of stuff open at same time(including vmware), so it should have enough RAM as well. And i have a windows license.

Any help would be appreciated ;3

P.S: I also have an 1TB hard drive that i am going to use in it, and i have two monitors.

More about : good gaming computer

i5 is a great gaming processor that is within most people's budget. However, an i7 is better and usually for photo/video editing.

Don't mind clicking the "Pick as the Solution" icon. Thanks mate. :)

I think i might go with that. Could you please tell me difference between i5 & i7?

i7 has hyper threading along with some other features that aren't beneficial to gaming. The features the i7 have are aimed more towards video editing, producing and media stuff along those lines.

Hope this helps :)
