Hi, I have very strange problem. Few months ago i bought new notebook which was OS free. First I installed Windows 7, and after 2 months my OS failed to boot, I managed after 2 hours to enter BIOS and install Ubuntu 14.04. I was convinced that OS failure was Windows problem. After using Ubuntu for few months, I noticed when using Chrome or Firefox developer console was constantly poping up. This was so annoying, and some time after my Ubuntu OS failed. Second time in 5 months my OS failed. I first tought that problem was in hdd, so I installed Linux Mint. Mint is working OK at this moment, but when I'm on Chrome or Firefox same thing happens as on Ubuntu, developer console is poping out. So i mounted my hdd on PC, and there was no problem with console poping out, when I'm using browser. My only idea is that I have RAM problem, I'm really helpless. Please any ides?

if you suspect RAM try this test: www.memtest.org This will of course put the RAM through an exhaustive test but since it is also testing the entire PC (minus the hard drive) it serves as a way to isolate hardware issues from software issues, in general.

Also, I'm not sure you ever ruled out a hard drive problem which sounds like a suspect to me too. Try downloading the diagnostic software for you particular HD brand.
