So I recently bought a Gigabyte GA-Z87P-D3 motherboard and one stick of 4Gb Kingston anniversary edition 1866 Mhz ram and don't know where to put it, I looked at the manual and all it says is how to install the memory and some dual channel info but that's it.I installed it in the far right slot on the motherboard and it only recognized 600 or so Mhz pls help.

Solution
you will need to install it in 1 of the first 2 ram slots next to the cpu socket. slot 0 or 1.
you will also have to either use XMP if its supported or manually set the timings for the ram to get it running at 1866.
