Recently I am having this weird issue thats preventing me from playing games

So what is happening is that, My PC is fine as long as I use it to surf internet,do stuffs like school work and watch movies, but recently, I can't seem to be able to play games, what is happening is that, whenever I try to play a game, game runs like shit at first, and its behaviour varies depending on the game, for example, SSSF4AE gives me 16 Fps and L4D2 runs like **** and doesnt detect my inputs from Keyboard, So I restart my PC, and VOILA ! all of these issues are gone, and game plays Smoothly, but, after some time, My Display will either get corrupted, forcing me to Reboot it, or Monitor will display a message saying "No Video Input Detected" "Entering Sleep Mode"
And it will crash, and Once I reboot my PC to login to Windows, It gives me a Blue Screen :x
I have to leave my PC switched off for a while, and after it, i am able to boot Windows Up Fine, and do Stuffs AS LONG AS I DONT PLAY ANY GAMES, if I boot up any game the same thing will happen again ;___;

So please help me

<Language, please>

Well depending on how old your system is, its time to give it a spring clean.
A nice check inside the case, and an inspection of the graphics card if you have it seated in the Pci-e card slot of your motherboard.

It`s seems clear to me that your card is already running hot because it has an air flow restriction from the fan of the card, and likely a heavy thick layer of dust matting up the cooling fins of the gpu cooling block of the card.

This would be the case if the system has been on for some time then you play a game.
It chokes.
And why it is fine if you leave the system off for a bit play a game and it seems fine, then the screen display is lost, the system crashes, or your met with a BSOD.

Why it runs like it is because a Gpu down clocks in speed and performance, to try to let the excessive heat built up lower in temp.
That means you not have enough air flow from the gpu fan through the cooling fins meaning its blocked with dust
In some cases.

Thanks for the Reply, I will surely get it checked, Cheers Mate :D

EDIT : I got this problem before, I thought maybe some thing on the OS was fucked up so I had it Formatted, after the format, I was able to play games before this problem reappeared again, what does it suggest ? how is it possible that a format was able to fix it temporarily ?
