Have you ever been through this? The wonderful feeling that you are finally planning on building your very own rig.

Since last Saturday I've being constantly checking, searching, finding reviews and confirming my first mid end gaming rig build list. I have a 2k MYR budget which is about 600$, more or less.

I'm still pretty indecisive at certain parts of the components but I care for more suggestions, below are my planned build component list, but do note this is a budget build.

Please do point out any errors which any components that which might not fit.

Processor - Intel i5 4590
Mono - Asus H97 Pro Gamer
Chasis - Bitfenix Neos
Ram - Avexir Core 2x4GB (I need suggestions on this)
PSU - Xigmatek Tauro 500w (or a Corsair VS series 550w is better?)
HDD - WD Caviar Blue 1TB
SSD - Samsung EVO 840 120 GB
GPU - MSI GTX650 1GB DDR5 oc (this will be carried over from my current rig, ignore will do.)

I wonder if it is a pretty build but all my concern is casual playing some games like DayZ, CSGO, Gmod, etc, and frequent Photoshop-ing, little Illustrator & Video rendering while getting the components I can utilize money/performance.

Thank you in advance ! Please do criticize and also give me more suggestions !
PS. This thread is a questions, will choose solution.

TLDR : This build specs with a budget of 600$

Haha i hate the cx its the same as the vs. That psu is not designed for gaming it uses cheap Chinese capacitors that burn out in two years not very good. You are better off with a nice seasonic or xfx most come with a 5 year warranty which means that are actually confident in the quality of there psu's the corsair might have a 2 or 3 year warranty or less.

I have never heard of the ram or the psu that is a bad thing. I would recommend G Skill ram and a seasonic or XFX 550watt psu the corsair vs's are garbage. Everything else looks good but that gpu is gonna hold the rest of your system back quite a bit it is by far in a way the weakest link. But everything else looks good.

Thanks for quick replying :D
I wasn't ever planning to oc so no worries haha. Is HyperX Fury 2x4GB Ram good also? I see they've pretty good reviews, yeah, I might upgrade my GPU soon and I'm still a little indecisive with the psu too.

Yah kingston is good ram. As far as the power supply think of it like this the psu is the one part in your computer that holds the lives of all the other parts in your computer in its hand it is not something you want to skimp on.
