Hi me and my brother are buying whole builds and we both are going to buy an r9 280x (each one) , so i wonder what power supply could handle them with some overclocking headroom , becouse he will later on upgrade his gpu so i wana be ok when that happens.

For 2 280X's in one build, yes that is the best option. :)
I can't tell if he is going to be using 2 or 1 card/s for each build.
