I was using my PC last night, just general browsing etc and suddenly it just cut out. No BSOD or anything, and now it won't turn back on. Naturally I opened up the PC to see if anything was amiss, there wasn't. So I attempt a box start to see if anything had started shorting it, the only thing close to a response is a faint click from the PSU when I attempt to jump it. I'm assuming the PSU is gone, but does anyone else know what is wrong?

Specs are:
2nd Gen I7 (can't remember specifics)
8gb of Nanya Ram
Ati radeon hd 7850
Gigabyte GA - H61M-S2PV MOBO
Winpower AD-E500AE-A5/A6 500W PSU

Thanks in advance

Sounds like it's definitely the PSU! It's a terrible brand.
Take it out of your system, and use the paperclip test to see if it works. To do this;
Find the green pin and a black pin on the 24 pin connector (the biggest one), (pins 15 & 16). You will be inserting the ends of the paperclip into the green pin (there should be only one) and a neighboring black pin. Before you do this, double check to make sure that the power supply is completely disconnected from any power outlet, and that it is switched off.

Im from the UK, I only bought the part 4-5 months ago though so I'm probably just going to get a replacement under warranty, I simply can't afford a new PSU atm if I am gonna get a new one ill be going for a corsair 80+ one so it doesn't die on me :p
