Asus r9 290 vs Gigabyte windforce r9 290?

So on amazon they're going for about the same price, the asus is about £305 and the gigabyte is £304.
So what I want to know is what is the better card. I dont care too much about noise as long as it's not ridiculous, then let me know. But the main thing I want to know is:
a) the reliability of each card, which one is know to have more problems, if any.
b) which one is faster?

a. They are reliable, but the warrantys are somthing to keep in mind.
b. "Faster" doesnt really matter, Its more about how well cooled the cards are, And 3 smaller fans are better than 2 larger fans, Making the windforce cooler, This means Gpu Boost 2.0, Will Automaticly overclock the card if its running Cool-ley, So in Lamens terms, The Windforce is faster and better.

Also i think the Windforce has a higher factory clock speed.

They are both reliable, but the Gigabyte will run about 5C cooler. :)
They are just about as fast as each other, if not the Gigabyte is clocked a little higher so it'll be a tiny bit faster.
I recommend the Gigabyte. I love Asus, but their cooling solutions for the 290s aren't very good at all. :)

Also, if anyone wants to go the extra mile, they can point out the difference between these two cards, they say they're both gigabyte windforce r9 290 but one is £320 and the other £304?

For the extra £16, The performance Increase would be important for me, But it isnt completely Necisary, But if you have the money the Gigabyte windforce will be much faster.

Also over here the Saphire Tri-X is cheaper, Always try to get a sapphire card for amd and Evga for Nvidia, The Sapphire Tri-X R9 290 will be much faster than the Asus and Gigabyte.

the saphire tri-x is £236 in uk.
However i'm not sure you understood what I was saying. Both cards I linked are gigabyte windforce, but for some reason one is £16 more and I dont know why. different people selling them or is the hardware physically different!?

I would personally get the ASUS because of the customer support. If you want a cooler card stick with the Gigabyte.

The Asus gets too hot. All of the top brands have decent customer support.
Also, the Tri-X is the best value 290 by far, it runs nice and cool and quietly. 10-15C cooler than the Gigabyte even. If you can afford it Whatisgoingonherethen, go for it! :D
