Nvidia updated driver causes rise in temperature (Video Playback)

I updated from 337.88 to Nvidia Driver 340.52 and when video playback my temp rises 10 degrees.
Normally my temp when video playback is 34-35 degrees then i updated to latest driver and its 48 degrees.I then unistalled and clean installed to 337.88 and it fixed and im getting 34-35 degrees.What is the problem is the new driver causing my GPU (GTX 780) to be over using or is the old driver using my cpu for video playback??

if your using software acceleration then it would only be using the CPU, but it looks like hardware acceleration is back on so the GPU would be doing all the work. But 48 degrees is pretty cold for a GPU, why worry?

Cause all the time my gpu runs at 34 and now after driver update its jumps to 48. I just built the system 20 days ago im new to this coming from consoles so is there a way to update to new drivers and use the cpu and keep the temp same
