The processor isn't compatible with the mobo. The CPU is socket LGA 1155 but the mobo is socket LGA 1150. Also the RAM you selected is 204 pin SODIMM. You need RAM that is 240 pin to be compatible with most modern mobos.

Your processor is an 1155 socket and your motherboard is 1150 those won't work :heink:

Hi - those will work, but the mobo supports dual channel RAM, you would be better of buying
2x2g than 1x4g sticks.

What's the big difference it's still 4 gigs of RAM...? I'm sorry I just want to keep things simple...Is it cheaper to dual channel? If I dual channeled I would just need 2 sticks of 2 gb RAM right?

There is a performance improvement by running dual channel RAM in dual channel. It might not
be noticeable, but that's the way I would do it. Yes, 2 x 2g sticks would work, cost might be a little
bit higher, but not much.
