We have 7 items in our home running on wireless, from an IPad to laptops and cell phones. Within the last 2 months they have all been infected by a virus somehow. Could it be the IP address

The IP address sure has nothing to do with a virus. The virus might be on a flash drive, but i've never heard of an iPad virus so far?

no, it cannot be the IP address... it's most definitely the poor judgement of someone in the family to download malicious software unknowingly while they were doing something they probably shouldn't have been doing... just my thoughts...

There is no virus that will run on all those devices. So what make you think you have a virus?

What I think is actually happening - someone in the family has spread something malicious through the use of these devices via EMAIL, which of course can be viewed on all those devices

the probability that all those devices are "infected" with some form of malicious software is remote
