If you're looking for speed the first thing I'd do is ditch the HDD with an SSD. Also, your power supply is only a third tier power supply on the Tom's list. Most the reviews on it I read says it has issues with inrush current. I don't know how much you saw it listed for but from what I saw you could get a much better unit for the same price or less. I'd probably think I wanted something from the Tier1, Tier 2A or Tier2B list at about 550-650w. Here's a link to the Tom's PSU Tier list: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-supply-unit-tier-list.html

You can get a 620w Seasonic M12II modular unit which is on the Tier 2A list for around 89.00.

Thnx a lot.. But the thing is I have'nt used PSU's apart from CM and Corsair. So am a bit confused about how the other brands will perform! Plus the one u mentioned i.e. 620W seasonic M12II modular unit is not compatible with Haswell.. So its an issue. :(

Don't be confused. If they are on the list they have been well tested and reviewed and are placed where they are on the list for a reason. Anything on the Tier 1, Tier 2A or Tier 2B list can be used without giving it a second thought. Just make sure to pay attention to the series or model of the PSU listed because a lot of the brands listed have both good and bad psu lines. One line from a company might be high on the list while others are far down. The list is pretty specific on which model series are which.
