Best gpu for 160$

What is the best GPU that I can buy for 160$? It has to be from newegg. I want to buy this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202090&cm_re=sapphire_r9_270-_-14-202-090-_-Product I wanna play games like thief,tomb raider,soul suspect,rust,the forest and COD at med-high.

CPU- AMD Phenom quad core 9600
Monitor- Acer x193w at 1680 x 1050 res

If you possibly can give me some other suggestions!

Your CPU will most likely be the limiting factor if you get that card. But if you're planning on upgrading the cpu/motherboard in the future, then yes, the dual-x r9 270 would be the best card in that range.

Get a 750 Ti

Power efficient and strong for med grade, and that resolution will definitely let the 750 Ti bump up to possibly high.

Mantle really isnt something to consider when choosing a side considering like 90% of games dont use it...
But if thats the way you think then R9 270 will work just fine.

It should run them on medium 30fps+ at least I'd imagine. I don't think your CPU is obsolete to the point where it can't run that.

I just prefer NVidia, cause it's more quiet and cooler.
But preference is preference.
Cheap power vs luxury.
I can understand, I've used both brands.

R9 270 should meet his demands, although no doubt the R9 280 would be better.
