Hello, sorry if this is in the wrong section,

I bought a ZM-GM1 Mouse around 2 months ago, it wasn't too expensive but as I cannot afford any expensive mouse it was a lo better than any other mouse I used.
It had been used on one PC and was unplugged and moved to my own PC.
Once then it stopped to work correctly, all buttons work, RMB,LMB,the wheel can be pressed and thr 2 side buttons. However it will not scroll or move the cursor, I first thought this was drivers but after reinstalling the drivers twice it still does the same, also the computer it was working on when I removed it, now does the same thing.. How does removing a mouse from a PC do this?

Hey There! Navigate to your Device Manager...if you're using Windows...

Hey There! Navigate to your Device Manager...if you're using Windows 7...press the Windows button on your taskbar...then type in the "search programs and files" window on the bottom...Device Manager...and it should bring up an option for "Device Manager." (Quick and Easy way of getting to it.) Click on "Mice and other pointing devices." Then you need to find which one is your mouse...I have a Logitech Gaming Mouse G600 so it says underneath the drop down of the devices "Logitech Gaming Mouse G600." Right Click on your mouse underneath that drop down menu...and click uninstall. Restart your computer and Windows should start to try and find a driver for your mouse.

Hey, thanks for the advice but this did nothing, as I said before, I do not think it is a driver problem as the PC, which it was working on minutes before it was removed has also had the same problem, it seems that the mouse had been unable to scroll or move the cursor just by removing it from a USB slot... Dont ask me how or why, have no idea

Its either one of three things...faulty mousie, bad USB slot or a driver issue. I had this issue once with my gaming mouse, it ended up being a driver issue. However...two different mice and computers. Anyways...I would recommend trying to reinstall the Universal USB Driver which should be on your Motherboard's website or the disc you got with the Motherboard.

What were you doing prior to removing your mouse from the computer? What programs did you have opened? My headset driver wants to corrupt my Universal USB drivers all the time...which is a pain in the butt to fix.

This is going to sound stupid, but once I had the exact same with my computer; Mouse wouldn't work properly, webcam would show a green 'ON' light, but not be detected, USB Pen Drives would deny access etc.
As a suggestion in some forum, I installed MalwareBytes and Scanned where my PC found so many viruses it was unbelievable. Not calling you dumb, but if you haven't scanned your pc or installed some antivirus yet, I highly recommend trying that out.
If it's a new PC, then I don't have a clue what's up.
It's atleast worth a try.
